Roundabouts are larger than traffic circles and often used to control traffic flow in lieu of a traffic light.  Roundabouts usually have more than one lane going around the roundabout and can have more than four entrances and exits.

When approaching a roundabout, reduce your speed and make sure to pay attention to the signs as you approach to determine which lane will take you to your desired exit in the roundabout.  If you need to change lanes while in the roundabout, be sure to use the usual lane changing procedures of using your indicator and shoulder checking prior to moving in to a new lane.
