Very Important Information (mandatory read)
For the purposes of complying with ICBC regulations, we must list the information below for your perusal. We encourage you to read it and, of course, ask us any questions that you may have. We will do our best to communicate with you, the parents and/or students, on all aspects of this experience.
Each appointment you make is especially reserved for you. If you cannot make a scheduled appointment, it is required that you email our office with at least 2 BUSINESS DAYS notice (weekend and holidays do not count in these days as the office is closed). We reserve the right to charge you a Cancelation or No Show fee of $65 (+GST) per lesson hour if you fail to give us an email notification within the allotted time frame.
Also if you forget to bring your learners permit with you for your lesson, an automatic $65 fee (+GST) will be charged.
Sick Cancellation notification. Due to the high volume of illnesses, we now require 5 hours of notice via email or you will be charged a $50 fee. Our instructors are committed to the lessons that are scheduled for our students. If you are sick, please provide as much notice as possible, we need to be fair to all parties involved. We do want everyone to remain healthy, thank you!
When canceling a road test date, the office of Ocean Park Driving School (2006) Ltd. needs to have 3 BUSINESS DAYS notice or you will be charged a $25 “no show” fee by ICBC.
If you cannot attend or do not attend your scheduled GLP class, it is required that you email our office with at least 5 BUSINESS DAYS notice(weekend and holidays do not count in these days as the office is closed). We reserve the right to charge you a Cancellation or No Show fee of $150 per class missed if you fail to send us an email notification within the allotted time frame.
OPDS reserves the option to add a fuel surcharge onto any driving package listed above.
Refund Policy:
Any Package refunds are only given at the discretion of OPDS and are subject to a 15% repackaging fee.
Entire GLP package is non-refundable but can be converted to another package if classroom part not taken yet (repackaging fee and GST may be applicable).
Acceptable forms of payment are: Visa/MasterCard/e-transfer to opdrivingschool@gmail.com or you can come into our office and pay with your Debit Card.
Ocean Park Driving School (2006) Ltd. is a certified private educational institution.
